Prepare digital product passports from your ERP data

A digital product passport (DPP) brings a product’s materials, manufacturer, environmental information and circularity together in one digital record, reachable through a QR code. Arvo builds this record from the product, BoM, supplier and carbon footprint data you already keep.

What is a digital product passport?

A digital identity for your product

A digital product passport is a digital record that holds information about a product in a standard structure and opens through a QR code or link on the product. It can include materials and components, the manufacturer, environmental impact, repair and recycling.

The European Union’s ecodesign framework for sustainable products brings digital product passports onto the agenda for product groups. Which product group must provide which information, and when, is set by the relevant regulations; keeping passport data in order today shortens preparation when those requests arrive.

Passports with Arvo

The passport is built from your business data

You do not retype information for the passport. Every value is taken with its source; if the source changes, the passport does not change by itself but is updated when you approve.

From the product card

The passport is opened by selecting a product or lot in the ERP and fills in automatically; it is kept at model, batch or serial level.

From the bill of materials

The BoM is the source of the passport’s components and materials; batch and serial passports inherit model data.

From suppliers

Supplier and purchase records are linked to the passport; missing data is requested from suppliers and approved answers move into the draft.

From the carbon footprint

Product carbon footprints calculated in the Sustainability app and supplier data received through PACT become sources for the passport.

Publishing and access

Publish with a QR code and choose who sees what

QR code and link

A published passport opens through a GS1 Digital Link or a secure link and a QR code; the public page is shown in Turkish and English.

Field-level access

For each field choose public, legitimate interest, authority or internal-only access; fields you do not mark as public never appear on the public page.

Immutable publication record

The published version is stored as an immutable record; a public verification page shows the passport’s current status.

How it works

A digital product passport in three steps

  1. Choose a template

Start with the general template or a sector template such as batteries, textiles, electronics or furniture; add company-specific fields.

  2. Connect the data

Take product, BoM, supplier and carbon footprint data with their sources; request what is missing from suppliers.

  3. Check and publish

The pre-publication check lists missing and unverified data; publish the completed passport with a QR code.

Arvo’s pre-publication check and templates are internal tools that show how ready your data is; they do not replace an official declaration of conformity.
